Drone incursion and counter-drone advisory
Drones over the fence are two different problems.
A port, utility, or launch provider can detect a drone but has no legal authority to stop it. A sheriff's office now has that authority, but only after certification, a written policy, and federal reporting. Both sides need a plan for the moment one hands off to the other.
You can see them. You cannot stop them.
Turn detection logs into a mapped, sourced record of where drones launch, what they approach, and which agency can act. That record supports budgets, insurance, and designation requests.
The authority arrived July 1. The capacity did not.
Get certified people, a counsel-ready policy, and an operations plan in place under the SAFER SKIES rule, before the first incident forces the question.

Where the two programs meet
The handoff decides the outcome.
A site that can only watch depends on an agency that can act. An agency that can act needs to know where and when to look. Each program is built around that handoff, so operators and agencies plan to the same map.
Detect and record
Sensors, logs, and staff observations, kept in a form an investigator can use.
Report and coordinate
Who gets the call, what they receive, and which authority applies at each location.
Respond and mitigate
Action taken under Part 124 by trained, certified officers, with the reports the rule requires.
